During Covid, although the community centre was closed to the public, we operated as one of Trafford's six Response Hubs. The Response Hub's activity included a food bank (now emergency parcels only), shopping service, wellbeing calls and buddy walking service, as well as signposting other help and support.
Following limited opening of group activities in between the various lockdowns & restrictions, we fully reopened our doors to the public in September 2021. Most pre-Covid activities returned, and we have introduced The Bread & Butter Thing (food provision), offer a weekly community meal and also continue to run the Response Hub activities (now named the Community Response Hub.)
We have been instrumental in establishing the South Trafford Community Collective which is a sub group of the newly registered CIC Trafford Community Collective, meeting monthly as a collective online.
Through the support and activities we offer, and the network of organisations we are a part of, we will do our best to help.
