Altrincham Community
Response Hub

During Covid, although the community centre was closed to the public, we operated as one of Trafford's six Response Hubs. The Response Hub's activity included a food bank (now emergency parcels only), shopping service, wellbeing calls and  buddy walking service, as well as signposting other help and support.Response Hub Circular Logo (2)

Following limited opening of group activities in between the various lockdowns & restrictions, we fully reopened our doors to the public in September 2021. Most pre-Covid activities returned, and we have introduced The Bread & Butter Thing (food provision), offer a weekly community meal and also continue to run the Response Hub activities (now named the Community Response Hub.)

We have been instrumental in establishing the South Trafford Community Collective which is a sub group of the newly registered CIC Trafford Community Collective, meeting monthly as a collective online.

Through the support and activities we offer, and the network of organisations we are a part of, we will do our best to help.

Please contact us by emailing hopefood@altrinchambaptist.org or phoning 0161 941 2018

Support can be found by contacting the Community Hub team on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-2pm.

Want to get involved?

If you would like to get involved - we'd love to hear from you. There are many different ways to play a part (and some don't even involve leaving the house!) so please do get in touch if you have some time to give.  Either call the Hub office on 0161 941 2018 or email volunteer@ourhub.org
